Mobile App Development

Mobile app development covers the design, build and release of native or cross-platform apps for iOS and Android, through to publishing on the App Store and Google Play. VenusSoft offers this to teams that need a mobile counterpart to an existing web product, or that are starting from a mobile-first idea.

SCOPE

One team. End-to-end ownership. Our own products.

When do you actually need a mobile app

A web product grows to the point where users want push notifications, offline access, or device features like the camera or location, and the browser cannot deliver them. SmartQflow is one example of connecting device capabilities to field operations.

Or there is an idea already validated on paper, but no clear starting point between platforms. When the platform choice is unclear, software architecture and prototyping tests it before the decision becomes development cost.

Sometimes an existing app gets rejected during store review, or runs into performance problems, and the honest fix is a rebuild on a properly set up architecture rather than another patch.

How the process works

  1. Discovery and platform choice

    1 week

Target users, device requirements and budget are weighed together to settle native versus cross-platform.

  2. Mobile UX/UI design

    1-2 weeks

Screen flows and interface design follow each platform’s own conventions, iOS and Android separately. This stage combines platform conventions with a focused UX/UI design process.

  3. Development

    4-8 weeks

The app is built in sprints; API integrations and device features are wired in during this phase. If the app needs its own API or management dashboard, custom software development adds that layer to the same product architecture.

  4. Device testing and QA

    1 week

The app is tested across screen sizes, OS versions and network conditions.

  5. Store release and monitoring

    3-7 days

App Store and Google Play submission is handled; crash and performance monitoring is set up after launch.

€9,000Project starting price

VenusSoft does not sell fixed packages: every project is built as custom software, and because we bring our own product components into each one, scope varies from project to project. The figure here is the floor a project in this service typically starts at; the exact quote follows scope, after a discovery call. These euro figures are set for the European nearshore market this page addresses, independently of any Turkish-lira pricing shown elsewhere on this site.

These figures are starting thresholds valid as of 5 August 2026; current pricing is confirmed in your quote.

What moves this number

  • Scope

The floor assumes the smallest useful version in which a single flow works end to end. Every further screen, user role and rule-bearing flow grows the design, build and test load together.

  • Integrations

Connecting to a documented API and extracting data from a system that has been running for years are not the same job. This is the line that deviates most from an estimate, and the first one discovery pins down.

  • Timeline

The same work does not cost the same on an ordinary schedule as it does compressed across a parallel team. Compression is not always possible either, and where it is, the cost lands on team size rather than on the calendar.

  • Continuity

Going live is a handover, not an ending. Maintenance, monitoring, support and the next release are agreed up front; they are not folded into the project figure but stand as their own open line.

What we use, and why

  • React Native

One codebase shipping to both iOS and Android, which shortens development time.

  • Swift & Kotlin

Brought in when a feature needs true native performance, camera, location or close-to-hardware access.

  • Firebase

Sets up notifications, authentication and crash reporting quickly, without building that infrastructure from scratch.

  • Fastlane

Automates store submission so the repetitive manual steps are not repeated on every release.

Frequently asked questions

What does mobile app development involve?

Three parts: interface and flow design, native or cross-platform development for iOS and Android, and release on the App Store and Google Play. VenusSoft runs all three with one team and supports the publishing process.

Should we build native or cross-platform?

It depends on your budget, audience and device requirements. React Native is fast enough for most products; we recommend native development for graphics-heavy apps or ones that lean hard on hardware-specific features.

How long does it take and what does it cost?

The durations above are our proposal for a mid-sized app. The starting price above is the floor a project like this begins at; the exact quote is set once platform count and feature scope are clear from a discovery call.

What happens if the app gets rejected from the store?

Store review guidelines are factored in during development. If a rejection happens anyway, we make the required fixes and support the resubmission.

Do you provide maintenance after launch?

Yes, we propose a maintenance window for OS-compatibility updates and bug fixes; the exact scope is set in the contract.

Who deals with the app stores, us or you?

Store submissions, review rejections and release timing are handled on our side, so you are not the one reading Apple’s reply at midnight. Day to day the work runs in English on a written contract, and our hours overlap most of the CET/CEST working day. That matters more on mobile than elsewhere, because a rejected build is a conversation you want to have the same afternoon, not the next morning.
