UX/UI Design

UX/UI design is user-centred design work that runs from research through to production-ready interface design. VenusSoft delivers it as a Figma-to-code handoff with nothing lost in translation, with decisions grounded in research rather than opinion.

When the interface "works" but users keep dropping off

Users quietly abandon a product mid-flow and nobody can say exactly where they get stuck. Digital Platform is one example of translating a complex publishing flow into a user-centred interface.

Screens were each designed with their own pattern, so every new feature needs a fresh design decision and engineering slows down. Sometimes a product grows into a patchwork interface, each addition inconsistent with the one before it. When the problem sits in a marketing site, corporate web design brings content hierarchy and the visual system together.

The root cause across all three is the same: design decisions made on instinct rather than research.

How the process works

  1. Research and discovery

    1-2 weeks

User interviews, existing analytics and competitor review surface the real problem areas.

  2. Information architecture and wireframes

    1 week

Flows and screen hierarchy are structured at a skeletal level, before any visual detail. For an early-stage product, software architecture and prototyping pairs information architecture with technical feasibility.

  3. Visual UI design

    2-3 weeks

Screens are designed on a component-based system that matches the brand identity.

  4. Prototyping and usability testing

    1 week

An interactive prototype is tested with real users, and findings feed back into the design.

  5. Design system and developer handoff

    3-5 days

The component library and technical documentation are prepared for a clean handoff to engineering. When the design needs to become a production product, custom software development carries the same component contract directly into code.

€3,500Project starting price

VenusSoft does not sell fixed packages: every project is built as custom software, and because we bring our own product components into each one, scope varies from project to project. The figure here is the floor a project in this service typically starts at; the exact quote follows scope, after a discovery call. These euro figures are set for the European nearshore market this page addresses, independently of any Turkish-lira pricing shown elsewhere on this site.

These figures are starting thresholds valid as of 5 August 2026; current pricing is confirmed in your quote.

What moves this number

  • Scope

The floor assumes the smallest useful version in which a single flow works end to end. Every further screen, user role and rule-bearing flow grows the design, build and test load together.

  • Integrations

Connecting to a documented API and extracting data from a system that has been running for years are not the same job. This is the line that deviates most from an estimate, and the first one discovery pins down.

  • Timeline

The same work does not cost the same on an ordinary schedule as it does compressed across a parallel team. Compression is not always possible either, and where it is, the cost lands on team size rather than on the calendar.

  • Continuity

Going live is a handover, not an ending. Maintenance, monitoring, support and the next release are agreed up front; they are not folded into the project figure but stand as their own open line.

What we use, and why

  • Figma

The industry standard for building component-based design systems and handing them off to engineering.

  • Usability testing tools

Grounds design decisions in observed user behaviour rather than assumption.

  • Accessibility auditing

Checks contrast, keyboard navigation and screen-reader support before anything ships to production.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between UX and UI?

UX is about how the product works: what the user is trying to do, which steps are unnecessary, where they get stuck. UI is what that becomes on screen: typography, colour, components and states. They are separate disciplines but not separate jobs. An interface drawn without research looks good and solves the wrong problem.

Do we get the source design files?

Yes, every Figma file and the component library are handed over at the end of the project.

Do you also build the interface, not just design it?

Design can be delivered standalone. If you need development too, we can run it end to end alongside our Custom Software Development or Mobile App Development service.

How long does it take and what does it cost?

The durations above are our proposal for a mid-sized product. The starting price above is the floor a project like this begins at; the exact quote is set once screen count and research scope are clear from a discovery call.

Can our own team extend the design system later?

Yes, the component library and documentation we deliver are built for your own team to continue.

How many users take part in usability testing?

Scope depends on budget and product complexity; participant count for a typical round is agreed together during discovery.
